1. Trader information
SQUARED is operated by Perspective Engineering, address: Czerwona Gora 3/5, 26-060 Checiny, POLAND, e-mail: contact@squared2.eu, phone: +48 502 480 085, VAT / registration no.: PL9591802404. Orders are fulfilled and shipped from Poland.
2. Scope of the service
SQUARED is a web-based application that allows users to create digital artwork, preview it, and order printed products based on their own design. Product pages, previews, the editor, and the wall mock-up are informational and illustrative tools supporting the purchase process.
3. Order placement and contract formation
By placing an order, the customer submits an offer to purchase the selected printed product. The contract is concluded when SQUARED confirms acceptance of the order and production is scheduled. Before that moment, SQUARED may refuse an order for legitimate reasons, including technical issues, payment failure, unavailable materials, or suspected infringement of third-party rights.
4. Customer content and responsibility
The customer is responsible for the content uploaded, created, saved, or ordered through SQUARED. The customer confirms that they hold all rights necessary to use the artwork, images, text, and other materials included in the project and that the content does not infringe any third-party rights or applicable law.
5. Colour, surface, and preview disclaimer
The customer acknowledges that the image visible on a screen is generated in light-based RGB display conditions, while the final print is produced through a physical printing workflow and may involve conversion, interpretation, or approximation within print colour gamuts and production settings, including CMYK-based or equivalent print output processes. Because of this, the printed result may differ from the on-screen preview.
Differences may arise in particular from: monitor model and calibration, device brightness and contrast settings, ambient light, colour profile handling, automatic print conversion, file scaling, print technology, drying and finishing processes, and the material selected for production, including the texture, whiteness, absorbency, and coating of paper, canvas, or other substrates.
The wall preview and related colour / contrast tools are intended only as an approximate visual aid to help the customer understand how a project may appear after printing. They do not constitute a binding colour proof, contract proof, or guarantee of identical visual output.
Minor, production-typical colour, contrast, saturation, tonal, sharpness, and texture-related differences between screen preview and printed product, or between different materials, batches, and print runs, shall not in themselves constitute a defect, lack of conformity, or valid ground for return, exchange, or complaint, provided the product generally corresponds to the ordered project and normal production tolerances.
6. Right of withdrawal and cancellations
If the customer is a consumer residing in the EU, the statutory right of withdrawal for distance contracts applies unless an exception under mandatory law applies. Printed products manufactured to the customer's specifications or clearly personalised may be excluded from the 14-day withdrawal right once production has begun.
Accordingly, cancellation or withdrawal is possible only until the project has not yet been sent to production. Once printing, material preparation, stretching, framing, finishing, or other production steps have started, cancellation, return, or exchange based solely on change of mind is no longer possible. Returns correspondence and complaints may also be sent to Perspective Engineering, Czerwona Gora 3/5, 26-060 Checiny, POLAND.
This clause does not limit any mandatory consumer rights relating to goods that are actually defective, damaged, incorrect, or not in conformity with the contract under applicable law.
7. Complaints and legal guarantee
The customer retains all mandatory rights arising from applicable consumer protection law, including rights relating to goods not in conformity with the contract. Complaints should be submitted without undue delay to contact@squared2.eu and should include the order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs where relevant. Postal contact for complaints and returns correspondence: Perspective Engineering, Czerwona Gora 3/5, 26-060 Checiny, POLAND. Complaints are reviewed within 2 business days.
A complaint may in particular be justified where the customer receives: the wrong product, the wrong size or finish, a product damaged in transit, a product with significant production defects, or a product materially inconsistent with the accepted order.
A complaint is not automatically justified solely because the printed colours, tonal range, contrast, material appearance, or texture differ from the customer’s screen or expectations where those differences result from normal print processes, normal material characteristics, or the RGB-to-print rendering limitations described above.
8. Shipment damage
If the parcel or product arrives damaged, the customer should document the condition of the packaging and the product immediately, keep the packaging where reasonably possible, and contact SQUARED without undue delay. Visible transport damage may be handled through a complaint, replacement, refund, or other appropriate remedy depending on the case.
9. Prices, production, and fulfilment
All prices, shipping costs, and delivery information shown during checkout form part of the order summary. Production begins after acceptance of the order and successful payment authorisation, unless otherwise stated. The maximum order fulfilment time is 5 business days, unless a longer period is required due to circumstances beyond normal production workflow.
10. Limitation of contractual exclusions
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including mandatory rights under EU consumer law and the law applicable in the customer’s country of habitual residence where such law applies.
11. Governing law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the law of Poland, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules applicable in the customer’s country of habitual residence within the European Union.
12. Privacy policy and personal data
The controller of personal data processed in connection with orders and customer contact is Perspective Engineering, Czerwona Gora 3/5, 26-060 Checiny, POLAND, e-mail: contact@squared2.eu, phone: +48 502 480 085, VAT / registration no.: PL9591802404.

The creative generation rules, software architecture, pattern-generation mechanisms, image-processing logic, editor workflows, ordering workflow and other proprietary technical solutions used in SQUARED constitute protected software implementation and proprietary know-how of Perspective Engineering. The customer receives only a limited right to use the service through the official website for its intended purpose. No ownership, licence or transfer of rights to the SQUARED platform, code, algorithms, implementation, designs, templates or technical solutions is granted unless expressly agreed in writing.

Unauthorised copying, use, distribution, disclosure or commercial exploitation of SQUARED or its protected components may result in civil and, where applicable, criminal liability under Polish, EU and other applicable copyright and intellectual-property laws. SQUARED may seek injunctions, removal of infringing copies, damages, return of unlawfully obtained benefits, publication of corrective statements, reimbursement of enforcement costs and other remedies available under applicable law. SQUARED may also notify hosting providers, payment operators, marketplaces, advertising platforms, search engines and competent authorities about infringements.
The customer retains rights to original content that they upload or create independently, subject to the licence necessary for SQUARED to process the order, produce the print, provide the service and, where the customer has given optional consent, display or share the project in the gallery. This clause does not limit mandatory statutory exceptions, lawful interoperability rights or consumer rights that cannot be excluded by contract.
