SQUARED //
Two ways to work

SQUARED tutorial

Start with a design from the gallery or create a layered composition from scratch. Choose the approach that suits you.

Editor mode

Edit a ready-made project quickly

Editor mode is designed for fast, intuitive work with finished abstract projects from the SQUARED gallery. You keep the composition and can replace the colours of selected cell groups or introduce gradients without rebuilding the artwork from scratch.

Only gallery projects marked with the Edit badge contain the project data required for loading and editing.
Start from a finished composition instead of building every layer yourself.
Identify the exact cell group that you want to recolour.
Choose a solid colour or add a gradient while preserving the existing structure and layer order.

Editor mode guide

1) Loading a ready-made project from the galleryopen an editable design in the Editor

How it works

  1. Open Project Gallery and choose a project marked with the Edit badge. Projects without this badge can be viewed, but they do not contain the editable project data required by Editor mode.
  2. Open the project details popup and use the action that loads the project into the Editor.
  3. SQUARED opens the saved project structure with its cell groups, colours and layer order ready for editing.

2) Editing the projectidentify groups and replace colours or gradients

Using the colour editor

Open the Editor panel (color-palette-panel). The list represents the colour and cell groups detected in the loaded project.

When Identify color is ON, the cursor changes to a pointer. Click any group of cells that interests you in the artwork. The matching item is then identified and selected in the colour list.

Each colour control is divided into two parts. The first part changes the main colour. The second part lets you introduce a gradient across the identified cell group.

When Identify color is OFF, select an item directly from the colour list. The corresponding cells in the tables flash white twice, making the selected group easy to locate before editing.

Editor mode changes existing project groups. It does not create new Layers, Patterns or Shapes.
